Dan Safier
Dan is the President and founder of Prado Group and is responsible for Prado Group's
overall Development and Investment Management activities. Prior to forming the Prado
Group, Dan was a Principal and the Executive Vice President of Prometheus Real Estate
Group, Inc. (www.prometheusreg.com), and was responsible for all residential, commercial
and mixed-use development activities for the Company. Prior to joining Prometheus,
Dan was a Portfolio and Asset Manager at AMB Property Company (www.amb.com) and
was responsible for AMB's International Investment Activities where he oversaw a
portfolio of retail, office, and industrial properties and formed strategic alliances
and investment relationships with various Asia-based institutions and investment
companies. Dan is a licensed attorney and member of the State Bar of California,
the Urban Land Institute Multifamily Housing Council, ICSC, and the Housing Leadership
Council of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Dan received his BA from UC Berkeley
with highest honors and his JD from UC Hastings College of Law.
Don Bragg
Don is the Senior Vice President and Director of Development and is responsible
for Prado Group's development activity. Don has extensive experience in design,
entitlement, and construction management of multiple product types, with emphasis
in high density multi-family and mixed-use. Don has been involved in the development
of approximately 3,000 residential units in all construction types including wood
frame, concrete, and steel. Prior to joining The Prado Group, Don was the Vice President
of Development for The Irvine Company Apartment Communities (IAC) where he oversaw
and managed large-scale residential development. Don has also served as Vice President
of Development at Prometheus Real Estate Group where he was responsible for the
development of high density, in-fill residential and mixed-use projects in addition
to Class A office buildings. Prior to Prometheus, Don gained extensive construction
project management experience with Douglas Ross Construction. Don has been a California
licensed architect since 1991 and practiced architecture for 10 years designing
various product types. He holds a BA in Architecture from the University of California
Berkeley and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Craig Greenwood
Craig is a Principal and focused on Prado Group's Acquisition and Asset Management
activities. Craig is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, due diligence and closing
of acquisitions. In addition, he establishes value enhancement strategies and operational
efficiencies for each asset. Prior to joining Prado Group, Craig was investing in
multi-family projects as a Principal for 14 years. Craig's focus has been acquiring
and repositioning apartment complexes in the San Francisco Bay Area and Central
Valley. In addition to core asset investing, Craig has successfully repositioned
many value-added projects. Craig received his B.A. from UC Berkeley. He is a member
of the Institute for Real Estate Management, California Apartment Association, San
Francisco Professional Property Managers Association and the San Francisco Apartment
Association.
Lisa Congdon
Lisa's focus is project and asset management on Prado Group's mixed-use, retail
and residential projects in the Bay Area. Lisa also developed Prado Group's renovation
program for existing multi-family and mixed-use properties. Prior to joining The
Prado Group, Lisa was a Dispositions Associate and oversaw nearly a billion dollars
in dispositions in the Transactions Group at AMB Property Corporation. Prior to
AMB, Lisa was an Analyst in the Acquisitions Group at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments
where she was responsible for real estate valuation, underwriting and due diligence
for approximately $500 million in acquisitions. Lisa holds a Masters Degree from
UC Berkeley in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Community Development.
Lisa received her B.S. in political science from UC Berkeley and is a member of
the Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association and UC Berkeley Real Estate
Club.
Michelle Andrighetto
Michelle is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for Prado Group's overall
finance and accounting activities. Prior to joining The Prado Group, Michelle was
the Chief Financial Officer for 20 years for ROK Properties, Inc., where she oversaw
residential and commercial property management as well as residential and commercial
development. Michelle's experience includes large scale multifamily apartment projects
including the 862 unit Bayside Village project in South Beach, San Francisco which
she has managed for over 20 years. Michelle is a licensed CPA and a member of the
American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs. Michelle received
her BS in accounting from University of San Francisco.
Tony Smorgon
Tony's focus is project management on Prado Group's mixed-use, retail and residential
projects in the Bay Area and strategic investment advisory for the firm. Tony is
also a Director of the Escor Group, a Melbourne Australia-based investment company
where he has focused on acquisition evaluation, strategic investments and the management
of existing investments, including private placements and global real estate investments.
His experience includes consumer-based retailing as well as industrial products.
Tony received his Bachelors in Business from Monash University in Melbourne.
Irvin Taylor
Irvin's focus is sourcing Prado Group's acquisitions. Irvin has been actively investing
in multi-family and commercial properties throughout the United States for over
40 years. Irvin has owned and managed successful operating companies including healthcare
companies in New York and North Carolina. Irvin was previously a physician and surgeon.
He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with BS and MD degrees with post-graduate
training at the Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University in Montreal, and the
Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School. Irvin served on the
faculty at Harvard Medical School and Cornell University Medical School. He was
Chief of Ophthalmology at Phelps and White Plains Hospitals and attending surgeon
at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital and New York Hospital.
Kelly Baker
Kelly is the Property Manager and is responsible for Prado Group's property management
operations. Kelly has extensive experience operating and renovating San Francisco
rent controlled properties. This includes the management and oversight of a residential
portfolio of 65 San Francisco rent controlled buildings comprising 1200 units. In
addition, Kelly project managed over $55 million of San Francisco apartment building
rehabilitations. Prior to joining the Prado Group, Kelly was a District Manager
at Citiapartments, San Francisco's largest residential landlord, where during her
7 year tenure, her responsibilities included; property management, construction/project
management, acquisition due diligence, and marketing & leasing. She has a vast understanding
of operating residential properties within the highly regulated San Francisco rent
controlled market. Kelly holds a BA from the University of California Santa Barbara.
She holds a CCRM designation, and is a member of the California Apartment Association,
San Francisco Apartment Association, and the Professional Property Managers Association.
Will Hu
Will is a Senior Associate and is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing acquisitions,
as well as analyzing potential development projects. Prior to joining Prado Group in 2010,
Will was an Associate in Stanford University's Real Estate Office managing its off-campus real estate assets through acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Prior to Stanford, Will was an Analyst in Lehman Brothers' Venture Capital Group, making preferred equity investments in technology start-ups. Will received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.B.A from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
Bao Vuong
Bao is an Associate and is responsible for underwriting and analyzing potential acquisitions and development projects as well as completing transaction due diligence. Prior to joining The Prado Group, Bao was a Managing Consultant in IBM's Global Business Services' division responsible for managing and implementing finance solutions for Fortune 500 companies across the US. Prior to IBM, Bao was a Business Systems Analyst at Capital One Financial Corporation implementing risk management and financial reporting systems. Bao received his B.S. from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and his M.B.A with honors from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. He is also LEED Accredited Professional.
